What does the color of the status indicator ring in Prime series cameras signify?
All Prime series cameras come with a status indicator ring. The following chart shows what each color indicates.

Edit Mode (Playback): Motive is in Edit Mode. |

|
Live Mode: The camera is actively sending the capture data and receiving commands in real-time, but the data is not being recorded. |

Green*
|
Recording: The camera is recording and actively sending the data to be written in memory. |
|
Yellow*
|
Selected: Indicates that the camera is selected in Motive. |
|
Orange*
|
Reference Cameras: The camera is in reference mode. Instead of capturing the marker data, the camera is recording reference video. |

Green Fill |
Calibration: The camera is in calibration mode. The green light fills the ring indicating that a sufficient number of samples is collected. |

Green Fill and White |
Calibration with a wand in the view: The camera is in calibration mode collecting sample images. The white light indicates the detection and the position of the calibration wand. |
|
Blue and White |
Hibernation: The camera is in a low power state. This is triggered when closing Motive while cameras are still powered by the switch. |

Red Fill |
Firmware Reset: The camera's on-board flash memory is being reset. |

Yellow Fill |
Firmware Update: The camera's firmware is being written to the flash memory. The camera reboots on completion. |
