How does Motive differentiate multiple people or multiple objects?
Motive distinguishes different objects and people by recognizing the uniqueness of the marker arrangement. When an asset is created, the orientation of markers within the asset is recorded, and this spatial relationship is used to recognize and differentiate multiple people or objects.
Thus, the uniqueness of marker placements is very important in differentiating multiple assets. When two objects, or people, are about the same size and shape, it is beneficial to offset one or more markers, so the system can differentiate between them.
