Does Motive support custom marker sets?
Custom marker sets can be produced through Motive. At the most fundamental level, the Create Marker Set feature in the Project pane creates a new marker set. For each marker set created, users can add labels and assign them to corresponding markers in each Take. Note that this feature is for annotations only, and each marker set needs to be defined as a rigid body or a skeletal model in order to auto-label the markers and produce a model.
Rigid Body Marker Set
When multiple takes are involved in a project, manually clicking and labeling individual markers for each take can be time consuming. To help simplify the workflow, a set of markers attached to a rigid object can be grouped and auto-labeled as a rigid body. This rigid body definition can be utilized in multiple takes to continuously auto-label the marker set for each Take. By recognizing unique positions and orientations of each markers on the object, Motive will auto-label and create a rigid body for the user.

Skeletal model, non-rigid body, marker set
For creating a skeletal model, a non-rigid body, Motive utilizes pre-programmed marker sets which simplify the skeleton calibration and tracking process. These marker sets will auto-label a specific set of markers attached to the person and create a skeletal model. Skeletal marker sets can be modified by using editing tools which allow adding new markers or removing certain non-critical markers from the previously calibrated skeleton.
